COD 2 was released in 2005 for the PC and Xbox 360. The game was a follow-up to the wildly popular first game and retains the World War 2 setting. The single-player campaign featured a cinematic storyline which set players in the shoes of British, Russian, and American soldiers during pivotal moments of the war. The game included very well received multi-player modes which allowed players around the globe to battle each other in intense, team based firefights.
